Answer:EcoSmart® is not only a line of sustainable clothing by Hanes but also refers to the type of polyester the brand uses in the fabric blend of this product line. EcoSmart polyester is Hanes’ solution to reduce microplastics, which is why they call it the “Smart Polyester”. EcoSmart uses CiCLO® technology which allows microbes to treat this polyester as a natural fiber instead of synthetic fiber, accelerating its breakdown in the environment and reducing microplastics. EcoSmart doesn’t compromise on printability or comfort in any way but lessens the environmental impact of the polyester.

Answer: Sublimation works best on 100% polyester garments. The Hanes P170 features a 50/50 cotton-polyester blend fabric. 50% polyester can still take sublimation but the design may appear faded. We recommend testing on a sample first.
